'Us' is really Nicky and the team.  Nicky is the designer and project manager.  He has always had a keen interest in outdoor living;  "Like all kids i loved camping and 'mountain'" (hill) climbing, running about in fields and messing about up and down trees and in and out flower-beds in other-peoples gardens and my own"; an early realisation of just how much life can be lived in the open spaces beyond the four walls of the living room.

Working under local gardeners and handymen from 16yo whilst pursuing a school career, he began his professional career as a landscaper in 2002 working for a local company, and under the direction of experienced stone-masons and joiners, he learned and practised the landscaping trade soon becoming a project manager.  He also studied Diplomas in both Art & Design and TV & Film Production.

'gardenimprovements.com' started up in 2005 and has accomplished dozens of comprehensive design and makeover projects since then.  In 2007, we extended our scope of operations to include 'designer driveways' and plan to introduce a garden maintenance service for 2009.

The present team excepting Nicky are 'Craig', 'Del' and 'Kevin' and apparently are not paid enough to have their mugs posted on the website!
