small improvements projects

Not every garden needs a complete overhaul.  Here are some ideas for smaller improvements:

þ new patio or pathway þ water feature and lighting þ terracing
þ decking or fencing þ lawn edging þ herb or kitchen garden
þ new lawn and drainage þ kids play area þ planting

If you are practical then most of these projects should be manageable.  There is a wealth of how-to resources in your local library and on the internet.  It's important that you fully explore the range of materials available to you - look beyond your local DIY store and I guarantee you'll find a product you love.  A garden is a natural area - aim for natural products!
